What is King of the Clubs?

King of the Clubs is a fun filled day event on the Ottawa River that is open to all paddling clubs. Clubs come together to participate in a range of events designed to appeal to beginner, intermediate and advanced boaters. On water events have included a McCoys relay race, a cardboard boat race, two boatercross events and a tug of war. On land events have included a male and female boat toss, a throwline accuracy event and a z-drag event. New events are added each year to keep clubs on their toes. Winners take home a hand carved wooden paddle will is engraved with the club's name.
