July 26, 2010 - August 01, 2010July 26-Aug.1 is the National Slalom and Downriver Championships at the Gull MWWP.There will be water releases every day (except Wednesday). The release is funded by race fees and priority of river should be given to athletes training for nationals...

- Monarch Bible Day Camp
July 12, 2010 - July 16, 2010Day camp held at the MWWP for local area campers, hosted by Teresa and Barrie Ward. Monday to Friday (5 days) - Gull River Rodeo - July 25, 2010
July 25, 2010Entries on the day of the event 9-10am. Event hosted at the Minden Wild Water Preserve with a negotiated water release for that day. Free paddle from 8:30-11:30am. Rodeo starts at 11:30am. Boater cross at 2:00pm.
$10 entry fee.
- Novice Fun Kayaking on the Gull
July 28, 2010July 28 from 6:00-8:00pm this event will take place on the Gull section of the river that is in town. WO will provide boats and equipment to area youth and vacationers in order to try paddling. National team members will be on hand for autographs.
