 The Outdoor Show was quite a success this year. We had even more folks dropping by than last year by my totally unscientific count. On Friday we had a younger crowd, presumably due to it being Reading Week for some colleges and universities. Many were interested in getting in to the sport and looking for information on how to get started.Saturday and Sunday were a more family-oriented crowd, but still showing strong initerest in WO and its member commercial members and clubs.
We had lots of representation in our booth, with Cale, Laura, Jeff S. and me representing the elected body, TJ and Russ Lackey for the MWWP Committee, and David Chun and his two sons (ages 16 and 17, I think), Brad, Brent, Carolyn Breton, Barbara Foster and Jennifer Arnold helping out. Thanks to all the volunteers.
I heard lots of positive feedback about the new web site and the online registration and look forward to seeing some of the folks who stopped by out on the river this summer.
