King of the Clubs – 2011

Whitewater Ontario’s 3^rd annual King of the Clubs event is coming up; Saturday, September 3^rd, 2011 (Labour Day Weekend).

King of the Clubs is an event designed for paddling clubs to participate in.  It is a series of smaller events that take place on and off the water throughout the day.  Events are designed for all paddling abilities in your club.  Points are tallied throughout the day and overall point leader (club) will be deemed King of the Clubs.

King of the Clubs takes place on the Ottawa River (Main Channel) and rafting resort River Run.  Normal camping and takeout cost apply for paddlers.

To participate, clubs / club leaders need to notify organizers no later then Aug 29^th, 2011 if hey plan on participating.  Please supply an estimated number of club participants that will be participating during events.  Clubs  / groups must have a minimum of 5 paddlers in order to participate in events (individuals wanting to participate can join clubs that are participating prior to September 3^rd).  All paddling clubs / groups will have to be Whitewater Ontario registered clubs if not already at a cost of $25.00 and participation cost of $5.00 for non-Whitewater Ontario individual members.

Additional information will be updated weekly including events, day outline, food and camping.  Clubs, this is your time to come on out and shine.  Participate with other clubs and paddling friends in a fun, competitive day of paddling activities.
