Members of the WO Advocacy Committee, members of the Queensborough community and paddlers from across Ontario gathered on Saturday Morning March 24th to erect a sign recognising the Queensborough community's ongoing support for access to the Black River and in particular, Elaine and Ludwik Kapusta who own the property at the river takeout.

There were three local papers there to cover the event, which was followed by a paddle of the Upper Black and treats including burgers and pies provided by members of the Queensborough community.
