2011 WHITEWATER SUMMER SERIES

The 2011 Whitewater Summer Series began last Sunday with a slalom race at Ottawa’s Pumphouse.  It was a great start to the Summer Series with a strong contingent of Australian and New Zealand paddlers making for a full and very competitive field.

Results can be viewed at:  http://www.ottawariverrunners.com/

The Series continued on Monday with our friends at the Ottawa Kayak School organizing a river run on the Ottawa for our guests from overseas and a freestyle event. The series has shifted MKC where both the Downriver and Slalom take place on Wednesday, June 29.

The series wraps up at the Gull July 1-3 with Boater Cross, the annual Andrew Westlake Memorial Slalom Race and a lower slalom race.  Check the WO website for the schedule of events.
