Introduction
Eels Creek is a class II-IV river with lots of flatwater sections. High Falls is a class V waterfall that requires scouting and safety.
Access
This section is a spring run.
Map of putin and options for takeout
Take Hwy #28 north of Burleigh Falls towards Apsley. The put-in is 5km south of Apsley at the Wagon Wheel Inn. Depending on where you start you can take out along Hwy #28 or at Haultain on Hwy#8.
Put in
There are several different putin options depending how long a run you want to have. You can put in at various spots along Hwy 28 between Apsley and Haultain
Take out
Take out is near the Petroglyphs park on Northey's Bay Road.
