In the early Spring paddlers from all over Southern Ontario (and many other places) congregate for the two or three weeks thee rivers are running. The rivers offer a great variety of paddling spots, suitable for beginners through advanced paddlers. The rivers are mostly typical of Canadian Shield watercourses; a mixture of drop and pool rapids, canyons, ledges and waterfalls.
Festivals and Events
The mass migration of paddlers to the area each Spring has given rise to M.A.C.K. Fest, the brainchild of the Kawartha Whitewater Paddlers.
