Take out

Do not run the section at the train bridge. Make sure you take out 100m upstream of the train bridge. Walk up the hill and you will meet the road.

Rapids

First Section: Boogie Water III+/IV

Boat scout this section from small eddies. This section is just below the falls. Check that you can get under or over the river wide log (level dependent). This section leads to the boof tooth before the gauntlet. Take out in the river left eddy before the boof tooth to scout the boof tooth.

Boof Tooth IV

Run down the centre, water pushes left and boof....the...tooth. Avoid the tree strainer on the left. Take out in the eddy on the left to scout the gauntlet.

The Gauntlet V

This covers the main and most challenging section of the run which has a series of challenging lines to be made one after another. This section requires scouting and safety. This section is three drops and then a big right turn followed by a hard left turn. Avoid the seive formed by a log.

Boogie water leads to the takeout.

Length of run

1km but takes 1-2 hours depending on scouting.
