Well, its that time of year again. The annual MWWP clean-up will be held over two weekends this year. Oct.17/18th will be the first weekend. I know its Moosefest, but for those that can lend a hand, great. It's going to be a warm- up for the main event on Sunday, Oct.25th. I'll be up both weekends, with rakes, tools and a long list of things that have to be done before the snow comes, which ain't too far off. Overall, the intention will be to thin out some trees on the 17/18th weekend, cut them up,and then stack them on the 25th. If playing lumberjack isn't your thing, don't worry, there are lots and lots of other jobs to do around and inside the building. And of course, everyones favorite, the leaves. Bring yourselves and whatever tools you feel will be appropriate and come join in on the fun. ATV's are always a huge help, especially moving firewood around. BBQ lunch's will be provided to on the 17th, 18th and 25th for all who attend. There have been great turn outs for the last several years. It would be great to see all the regulars and even better if we saw some new faces this year. Hopefully we'll see you all soon. The MWWP Committee thanks everyone in advance. |
