WO Negotiates Water Release at the Gull, July 25, 2010

With the low water levels in many locations, including the Gull, 
Whitewater Ontario has arranged a water release for Sunday July 25th, 2010,
9am - 4pm. This is intended for the playboat and open boat members and
paddling community. To assist in covering the cost of a release, WO is asking
paddlers to contribute $10. The river will be available to all paddlers and
we will also host both a rodeo event at Earl's and a boater-cross from the
dam to Otter slide. 

The release will be significant at 18cms, which should make Earl's into a 
great hole for play and rodeo, as well as the lower wave below Otter slide,
depending on lake levels.

Watch for a separate posting from Brodee, the rodeo event organizer, for
details on the rodeo event as well as a call for volunteers to help with the event.

Entries for boater-cross and rodeo at the MWWP will be on the day of the event
9-10am. There will be a free paddle from 9-11:30am, rodeo at 11:30am-2pm and 
boater-cross at 3pm.
