The 30th running of the Gull River Open Cane Slalom Race will be held this weekend at the Minden Wild Water Preserve. Paddlers from Canada and the US are expected at this annual event. Come up to race, to watch or to help out. This year, in addition to the races held on Saturday and Sunday, there will be Cross Country Croquet, the Reel Paddling Film Festival, and the Bubble Street Mini Whitewater Foam Boat course.
