Tamara Poropat

Tamara grew up in the small town of Haliburton, Ontario. From a young age, she spent summers at the Minden Whitewater Preserve kayaking with her Dad. She later worked at Boatwerks, and assisted with instruction on the Gull River.

 

After university, Tamara moved to Ottawa where she now works as a Physiotherapist. She enjoys spending many days on the Ottawa River with friends, as well travelling to Quebec, the US, and around Ontario on paddling adventures. This is her first year on the WO board, and she is looking forward to getting more involved in the whitewater community!
