Each year, on the August Long Weekend, many of the Whitewater Ontario Affiliated Clubs, as well as other Paddling Organizations, converge on the Ottawa River for a fun filled day of competition and comradery both on, and off the water.
The King of Clubs events are targeted towards inclusivity and enjoyment for all ages, genders, and skill levels. Each of the competing clubs/organizations is encouraged to have all of their members participate equally in each of the events, placing a strong emphasis on teamwork over individual skill.
These events include:
- Rubber Chicken Eddy Relay
- Ball Chase
- Blindfolded Race
- Boatercross
- Tug-of-War
- Kayak Toss
- Rope Toss
